There is a receptacle for trash and one for recycling in the kitchen. The trash can has a large bag installed, and there are extra large bags under the sink. No bag is needed for recycling.

There are two large trash bins and one recycling bin in the carport.

• Please put only recycling in the recycling bin, and please put only garbage in the trash bins.
• Recycling items should be emptied in the recycling bin with no bag.
• Please be sure to bag all garbage that is placed in the trash bin(s); no loose garbage.
• If you are here on a Wednesday, please take garbage and recycling to the top of the driveway in the evening for pick up on Thursday.

We also have a compost bin, if you wish to use that for raw vegetable and fruit remains. The compost bin is located in the backyard, along the left fence (as you face the lake). No pressure to use the compost bin; just an opportunity. If you use it, it is always helpful to spin it a few times after closing the panels.
